Harry Potter and the cursed child

Harry Potter and the cursed child is about Harry Potter´s son, Albus, who is surprisingly sorted into the Slytherin house. Draco Malfoy´s son, Scorpius is also sorted into the Slytherin house and the two boys become best friends.

Before Albus and Scorpius´s fourth year at Hogwarts, Harry makes a prototype of a more powerful version of the Time Turner. Amos Diggory wants to use the Time Turner to prevent Cedric, his son´s death. Lord Voldemort killed him at the Triwizard Tournament. Albus hears Amos and Harry´s conversation and then Delphi appears. She is Amos niece and she wants Albus to steal the Time Turner. Albus convinces Scorpius to help him steal it.

Then they steal the Time Turner and travels back to the first challenge of the Triwizard Tournament. They sabotage Cedric in the task. That does not prevent his death but makes the reality different; Albus was sorted into Gryffindor and Ron and Hermione never got together.

Later they travel back to the second challenge and humiliate Cedric. That does prevent his death, but only Scorpius returns to the present. Their actions resulted that Cedric joined the Death Eaters, Voldemort won the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry died and Albus was never born. Therefore, Scorpius uses the Time Turner and Albus is back again.

Albus and Scorpius attempts to destroy the Time Turner, but Delphi stops them. She steals it and it turns out that she is not Amos´s niece but daughter of Voldemort. Delphi travels back to the night where Voldemort killed Harry´s parents and got cursed in the attempt of killing Harry. Delphi wants to stop him to ensure her father´s survival.
