Just one year

The novel is about a boy called Willem, who after he spent a day in Paris, with a girl named Lulu wakes up in a hospital. He can´t remember, why he is in Paris and not Holland, where he should be. When he finally remembers everything inclusive Lulu, he looks for her, but she is gone. Willem gets really depressed, because he doesn’t know her phone number or her real name. He visits his best friend in Holland. He stays with his friend, but he misses Lulu. In the Christmas vaccination he travels to Mexico with his friend, because Lulu told him, she was in Mexico in the vaccination. He doesn’t find her, and he realises, that he will never find her. Willem doesn’t want to go home, so he backpacks in Mexico. He meets a girl called Kate. She gives him a lift, and he tells her the story about Lulu. Willem gets sick, he is lonely, and he misses Lulu, so he calls his mother for the first time in 2 years. She says, he can visit her in India, and he accepts. He flies to India, but regrets his decision, the minute he realises, his mother didn’t really want him to come. His mother and him never understood each other, so he takes a short trip to some different places in India. When he comes back to his mother’s hotel, some moviemakers ask him to play a role in a movie. He agrees and play the role. Afterwards he visits his mom, and something change between them.
