Summary of “The Mind Readers”

The book is about a girl named Cameron Winters. She is kind of a freak. Cameron have a secret, only her family know, and it is that she can read minds. Since she was very young, her parents told her that she must not tell anyone about her special power. Because of that, she have to live behind a façade of normalcy.  

After a murder on a student, and a mysterious boy named Lewis arrived to the city. Cameron finds out that there is other mind readers like her, and someone called S.P.I. is hunting them.

Lewis took her to an island with other mind readers. A man named Aaron train and help mind readers. Soon Cameron notice that something is a little bit weird and secretive and decides to try to escape from the island. After two unsuccessful attempts, she talk to Lewis. He said if she want to get back, she have to let Aaron erase her mind.

Aaron erased her mind, and after the erasing, she lay in coma, in a couple of weeks. Aaron sent Cameron back to her grandmother and together they moved. Her grandmother started teaching her how to use her power.

Some month’s later people from the S.P.I came to Cameron and asked her to come with them.
